Not too long ago I had the amazing opportunity to send my modest swimsuits to Hawaii for a photo shot by Amber Mozo. She did an amazing job capturing the vintage one pieces and making the retro swimsuits look fresh and vibrant.

1. Once I place my order for my swimsuit, when should I expect it to arrive?

When an order is placed I get working on making the swimsuit as soon as possible. It generally takes me a 1-2 weeks to construct the swimsuit. After the suit is made I ship it out immediately and shipping takes between 3-5 business days. International shipping takes roughly 6-10 business days.

This timeline is subject to change. During the busy season (March-August) there is a chance it may take longer for me finish each swimsuit. With more and more orders coming through Beverly Swimwear, I do my best to send you the swimsuits within 3-4 weeks of your purchase.

Please take this information into consideration when you place your order. I can never guarantee the swimsuit will arrive at a particular time. Just know that I am doing my best to give you a quality swimsuit within a timely manner.

2. I got my swimsuit and it doesn’t fit, can you fix this? How long will this take?

I am more than happy to help create the perfect swimsuit for you and your body type. Just send me an email at bev@beverlyswimwear.com letting me know the specific fit issues you may have with the swimsuit and I can tell you how I can fix the issue. It is also helpful for me to see a picture of how the swimsuit fits on your body (these photos will only be seen by me).

Send swimsuit back to the return address with a note reminding me of the parts that need to be adjusted. Once I receive the swimsuit I will work on making the swimsuit better for your body type, this can take a couple of days. When it is ready I will ship it out to you with the problem solved.

3. I’d like to return my swimsuit, what is your return policy? And what is the process for a return?

Our return policy to customers is you may receive a full refund within one week of receiving their merchandise. The item must not be worn or damaged in order to receive a refund in full. Anytime after the first week the item cannot be returned.

Swimming suits with any type of alteration or customization for that specific customer cannot be returned. But if there is a problem with the fit or style of the suit, I am more than happy to fix it as best as I can.

In order to process the return just send the swimsuit back to the return address. Once I receive the swimsuit I will immediately process the refund in full through PayPal.

4. I wish I could combine certain designs of two suits into one. Can I have you make a custom swimsuit made just for me?

I love creating new styles and getting ideas from what my customers want to see in there swimsuits. If you are interested in having a custom swimsuit just email me at bev@beverlyswimwear.com with the details and designs you would wish to have in you swimsuit. I will then send you a sketch of the suit I am able to make for you.

Once we have a clear idea of what you would like in your modest vintage inspired swimsuit there are two options available, regarding the sizing and pricing:

Option 1: If you choose a size from my size chart (http://beverlyswimwear.com/size-chart/) the total of this custom suit will be $80.

Option 2: You can also give me your body measurements, which will allow me to create a new pattern just for your body. I can then make you a fully customized swimsuit for $100.

Pricing may vary according to complexity of the swimsuit requested. When all is decided, I will send you an invoice through PayPal. And then I will get to work on creating the swimsuit of your dreams!

5. I wish the straps on this suit were a tie instead of the halter (like in the image shown) and could you make it in this color combination instead. Can you make these adjustments for my swimsuit?

I want you to love the swimsuit as much as I do. It is generally no problem for me to make minor adjustments on a swimsuit, like add two straps here or take in the bust section.

Just remember swimming suits with any type of alteration or customization for that specific customer cannot be returned. But if there is a problem with the fit or style of the suit, I am more than happy to fix it as best as I can and make the swimsuit to your exact specifications.

6. Is there a way for me to see the other color options for each swimsuit?

All of my swimsuits are made to order and are shipped out as soon as possible. Therefore I unfortunately don’t have images of every modest swimsuit in every color combination.

7. My body measurements are in between sizes, which size should I pick?

If you body measurements happen to be in between two sizes I suggest going for the smaller size. The fabric I use is a spandex nylon blend and does stretch quite a bit. Here is the link to my size chart: http://beverlyswimwear.com/size-chart/.

8. What is the bra support like?

There are bra inserts sewn/placed into the swimsuit and they are also removable if necessary. The cup sizes I have available are A/B and B/C.

New sketches of the 2012 summer collection

It has been one incredible year since I’ve started Beverly Swimwear and I am so excited with all of the orders I have received from across the world.

With a new year, comes new seasons and new swimsuits. I have designed several new modest swimsuits and am in the process of creating them now. Since they aren’t quite finished yet I would still like to show you what you can anticipate this coming season with Beverly Swimwear.

Modest swimsuit fashion has never been better. I was inspired by the bright vibrant colors showing up this season. I wanted to create new lines and styles you can’t find in any other modest swimsuit shop online or in the store.

Here are the sketches of the swimsuits I have been working on at the moment. Most are one pieces, but I would like to also create the same ideas into tankinis as well. I hope you enjoy what I’ve come up with.

Wet’n'Wild Summer in my Beverly Swimwear

Beverly Swimwear has had a great summer 2011. With jet setting across the nation to many women looking to live modestly and fashionable at the beach, pools and/or water parks. Women be prepared for new suits coming out for summer 2012 at beverlyswimwear.com.

The other day I was thinking about the many different waterparks in Utah, Idaho and Arizona. A lot of LDS girls go to these waterparks to cool off during a hot summer day. Some of the better known waterparks in Utah are Seven Peaks Waterpark, Cherry Hill Waterpark, Classic Waterslides and Cowabunga Bay. A few waterparks from Arizona are Wet’n'Wild Pheonix, Big Surf Water Park, Sun Splash, Water World Safari and the Breakers. Last but certainly not least those water parks in Idaho: Roaring Springs, Raptor Reef, Boulder Beach and the Lava Hot Springs.
It is important to go to these waterparks with modest swimwear. Imagine going down those waterslides with an inmodest swimsuit! You go in wearing a swimsuit and come out wearing nothing! My recommendation for swimsuits with a good fit for active women who dare to go down those big waterslides : )

And the anticipation is over!!! Here are the photos of the other swimsuits. At the moment I am in the search for new sewing machines making sure they have all the right stitches and features I need. The website is still a work in progress. I never knew all the things that go into creating one until recently, so I’m finalizing everything & hopefully soon the business will come together and the suits will be ready to be sold. On that note, here are more of my suits:

The Last Stretch…

I have finished six swimsuit designs, yippee! It has been so great to know they are done & that I have all the pattern work completed, so I can duplicate the designs for You! There are more designs in the beginning stages at the moment, so I guess my work will never really be complete. The business is slowly, but surely coming together & I hope to have everything set up & ready to purchase soon. The plan is no later than the beginning of March, but I’ll let you know more details once I know them myself.

One thing I am super excited to do is get good quality pictures of my swimsuits. I know you’ve enjoyed the ones I’ve taken from my mac in my tiny room, but it really doesn’t do them justice. Soon I will be out of Idaho where I can take beautiful pictures on the sunny beaches in California, I can’t wait! Until then here are a few pictures courtesy of my mac:

So, I have been very busy lately while finishing up school and my swimsuits. And since I haven’t posted anything in a long time I’m going to show you some pics of my mostly finished suits, still need to finish the edges & add straps to them, but it has been really exciting to see them all starting to look like real swimsuits.

So far I have five suits that are almost done & I’d like to get two more started & finished off soon. So here are two of them & wish me luck on all the others.
