All the fabric I use I has a four way stretch, which means I can make the stripes go in any direction you may like.

Because all of my swimsuits are made to order, they are also customizable. So if you like a certain thing in one suit I can easily combine it with something else you like in another suit. I really love this suit and have been looking for one like this for some time. My only concern is the color. Based on the images you have the bathing suits look different colors on the model and when it is on its own. I like the coral (soft pink) color that it looks like the model is wearing but am not a fan of “hot pink”. What type of pink is this suit exactly?

The pink striped fabric in the picture has unfortunately been discontinued therefore I have a new pink and white fabric displayed in my fabric images post.

are the bottoms kind of like boyshort style? or bikini
The bottoms are originally bikini, but I am able to change them to boyshort upon request. Email me at bev@beverlyswmwear.com with any adjustments you would like in your suit and it’ll be no problem for me to alter the suit for you.

Question on the Sassy Stripes… does the bottom of the swimsuit fit more like a bikini bottom or a boyshort? Would you be able to add a little more fabric on the bottom to create more of a boyshort look?

I’m so glad you like my swimsuits. The Sassy Stripes swimsuit is more of a bikini bottom, but I can easily make boy shorts with that style. Just send me a email when you order to remind me to make that adjustment.

It generally takes me 1-2 weeks to construct the swimsuit and then I ship them out as soon as I can. Shipping to Tennessee will take 3-5 business days.

The one in the picture is the pink and white stripe. I don’t have an image of the red and white stripe suit, but it is the same stripes used in the Stella Stripe tankini. Sorry for lack of image.

Hi! I was wondering two things-
Are the black and white stripes thin or are they as thick as the ones used in tankinis? The swatches you have posted make them seem really thin.
Also, is there any bra support or anything in the suit?

The black/white striped fabric is a little bit thinner than this red/white fabric, the length is about 1/2″ for the black/white stripes.
There are bra inserts sewn/placed into the swimsuit and they are also removable if necessary. The cup sizes I have available are A/B and B/C.

I recently bought this swimsuit and I absolutely love it!! I had several questions about the swimsuit that I emailed to Beverly and she answered so quickly and was very helpful!! I ordered the pink and white stripes and you can’t really tell but the pink strips are kinda sparkly. I didn’t realize that from the picture but it is still super cute!!
Do you mind my asking what size the blonde model is? I’m trying to figure out if this suit would flatter my body type and I think it might be similar to hers except I do have a tummy from recently having a baby. I would like to accentuate my waist rather than my hips or chest. Would this be a good choice?

The model is a size Small. This would be great to show off your waist, the chevron detail is great for a slimming effect.

Ha! Well, I’m definitely not a small! One last question: someone mentioned in the comments that the pink is sparkly. Do you have a pink and white stripe that is flat? I’m not a sparkly person but love the pink. If not, should I go with the blue and white or the green and white stripes, in your opinion?
The pink/white striped fabric has a little bit of a sheen to it, but it doesn’t stand out. If you don’t want that the blue/white striped fabric is really popular with the Sassy Stripes swimsuit.

I too wondered if the swim suit could be made without the band across the back, simply because I wish it were a little lower. I’m very small chested (AA) so the “less support” thing wouldn’t really affect me…at least, I’d imagine not. How much “less support” are we talking? Thanks

The back strap pulls in the front area giving it a much better fit. Structurally the back strap holds the front together and without it it will could change the look of the front quite a bit.
